Bootcamp classes, one on one personal training, and small group training are just a few of the many workout options we have available. Over the years we have been able to help an array of clients, from brides training for their special day, new moms looking to shed excess baby weight, to tomorrow’s next superstar athlete. Our certified sports performance coaches and body transformation specialists will not only take you through fun, challenging workouts, they will also provide help with program design and nutrition advice to help you reach your specific goals.

Marty Velasco

Marty Velasco founded Fitness Edge in 1998. He is a ACE certified personal trainer and sports performance coach through USA Weightlifting. He specializes in body transformations and sport specific cross training for athletes. Marty is also a black belt in tae kwon do and has extensive experience working with children and adults. |
Steve Chalkwater
|
Steve Chalkwater is a fitness specialist and certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He joins us with 15 years experience in martial arts, cardio kickboxing and fitness education. Steve is also our program coordinator. He handles all of our new client orientations and online enrollment questions. You’ll see Steve from time to time in class, helping out beginning bootcampers when they need it. |
Michele Kirchner

Michele Kirchner is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. In addition to being our resident fitness model, Michele is an excellent group fitness instructor and motivator. She teaches bootcamp Tuesday evenings and will deliver the results you’re looking for! |
Jen O’Connor
|
Jen O’Connor is a certified personal trainer through The International Sports Sciences Association. She also has 12 years of experience as a group fitness instructor. Jen has a strong background in classical ballet and dance, which has greatly influenced her ideas on fitness and movement. An avid runner, Jen also worked as assistant coach for the CSU women’s cross country team. Fitness has been her life-long passion and she brings that passion with her to help others achieve their fitness goals. |
Scott Stewart

Scott Stewart is a certified fitness trainer through the ISSA. Regardless of your current state of fitness- Scott will help take you to new levels! |
Josh Coleman

Josh Coleman is a ACE certified personal trainer and also holds a degree in physical education. An avid sports enthusiast, Josh has participated in team sports throughout his entire life. One of Josh’s passions is working with the ‘weight loss’ market, as he himself knows what it’s like to be overweight. Josh lost 70 lbs back in 2005 and this experience is what inspired him to help others and become a personal trainer. |
Sheri Fuchs-Rohan

Sheri Fuchs-Rohan is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and leads bootcamp workouts Thursday evenings. She brings 10 years of group fitness teaching experience to her classes and will be sure to make you sweat! |
